The MyDinos Website is a safe, game-oriented site where children and parents can play, learn, communicate and explore the MyDinos game world. We have designed the site to be as safe as possible and to this end we have implemented the following measures:

a) Parental Input and Control of their Child’s account: Parents must approved their child’s account creation and can control chat functions and account functions.

b) Privacy is extremely important: We ask for as little information as possible from children (no personal information at all) to grant them functions in the game world and have a positive and safe game experience. We strive to limit any possibilities for other players to have access or direct personal contact with children.

c) Safe online environment: The MyDinos world has been designed with safety at the forefront of our minds. We are implementing technology and tools which filter foul language and rude behavior including player monitoring and reporting functions as well as chat filtering.

1. The Information We Collect

When you visit MyDinos you provide us with two types of information: personal information you willingly and knowingly volunteer through forms filled out during registration and use of the website and Web Site use information collected by us as you interact with our Web Site.

When you visit the MyDinos website the following information may be gathered from or about you and for the following reasons:

a) Character name and password

User and character name and password information is gathered to allow you to create a MyDinos account and access the game. It allows us to track your game activity and any paid membership information for your account. Your character and password information MUST NOT be your real name or contain other personal information of any kind and you should set up a password that only you and your parent will remember and difficult for others to determine.

Your account information described above, which could include your parents information (email and credit card information) could also be used to block access to the world if you are not behaving in accordance to the MyDinos Rules for the game world. This information could also be used to allow your parents to review or make changes to your account, communicate directly with your parents about the game or announcements, or to help you set up a new account name and password.

Never share you password or account information with anyone except parents of users.

b) E-mail address

Email addresses are necessary for us to contact users for verification purposes and your parents email address is necessary to allow for parents to verify information for children and approve and allow access for their child to the game world. If your parent does not respond to the email sent to them for verification purposes prior to allowing access to the game world, your information will be deleted from our database and treated as if it never existed.

c) Website or other feedback and information

Website information such as bug reporting and other forms we may ask you to fill out will never ask for personal information and will be related to the game universe. Bug reporting mechanisms provide in this beta of the game will be addressed by the MyDinos teams. Any forms that we may send you to gather feedback on the game that require that we receive your parents permission will routed to your parent appropriately.

d) Billing Purposes

MyDInos collect financial information as set out in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy. Billing information may be required to access membership privledges (described in “Members” on the site) if you buy a paid membership to the MyDinos experience. We would ask the parent for billing information including name, address, credit card information, and phone number. The information is used to process the payment for membership to the site and to communicate to the parent about the membership. We do not use this financial information for any purpose other than processing payments to Oceanside Interactive. (“Oceanside”), the publisher of MyDinos. The financial information that you enter to purchase a membership is not stored by MyDinos or Oceanside but, instead, is retained by our payments processing vendor for the purpose of processing credit card payments made to Oceanside.

e) Friend information or referrals and reporting other players

While on the site, you may have the opportunity to invite other friends to join the game. If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him or her to visit the site. MyDinos stores this information to send this one-time invitation, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at info@mydinos.com to request that we remove this information from our database. If your friend accepts the request to join and registers with MyDinos, then all appropriate rules for the site will apply to your friend.

For safety and privacy reasons we have a reporting mechanism in the MyDinos world where players can report other players to us if they exihibit rude or inappropriate behavior or negatively affect the user experience of others. If you should report another player while on the site, we will no ask for any personal information on you or the player you are reporting. If you report a player our customer report department may contact you for further information on the nature of the report.

f) Chat Functions

MyDinos may employ both chat trees and open chat functionality in the game. MyDinos will do everything possible to limit inappropriate chat in our game world. Both kinds of chat are designed to not allow personal information to be exchanged between users.

- Chat trees allow for a limited selection of words to be exchanged between users. You can only receive and send a select group of words to others in the game world;

- Open chat allows for users to write their own messages. We are using filtering technology that does not allow the use of foul language or exchange of personal information such as phone numbers. We need a parent’s permission before allowing Open Chat with other players.

Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on MyDinos is a violation of the MyDinos Terms of Service and should be reported to us at privacy@mydinos.com

If personal information is not provided to us, then MyDinos may not agree MyDinos membership and may not be able to provide access to certain content and functionality on MyDinos website, or to provide other information, products or services which may be requested.

MyDinos may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service.

II. MyDinos may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other users of the MyDinos service through the operation of the service in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience.

III. Your information may be shared with companies that have a business relationship with MyDinos. These include responsible companies providing services to MyDinos to support operation of the MyDinos Website or companies providing services to MyDinos customers, of which the social network community views as relevant and desired. These companies may reside inside or outside of the United State of America and we make sure they agree to protect all information about your account. By using myDinos, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States and the European Union.

IV. Uniform resource locators ("URLs") that you assert authority to administer and register with the MyDinos Website and general information that is gathered and aggregated by anyone who visits the MyDinos Website. When you enter MyDinos we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all MyDinos visitors. Examples of this information includes internet protocol address ("IP Address") and header information from your web browser. The MyDinos Website stores information using "cookies" supported by your web browser to track users within the MyDinos Website. ." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. The cookie stores a unique session ID to determine if users are logged into the website and various user preferences. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. MyDinos may gather this information for research purposes to make the game better from a technology or game design standpoint. No personal information is collected from you in this process.

2. Children Under Age 13

ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 IS NOT ALLOWED TO REGISTER. MyDinos does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for MyDinos or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on MyDinos. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If a child provides a valid parent email address during the account creation process for MyDinos or if a child has a paid membership on MyDinos, Parents can contact MyDinos at privacy@mydinos.com or support@mydinos.com for any issues or requests. Parents can retrieve and change information such as account settings, password, username, child’s character name, all billing information, chat level allowed, closing accounts, and if relevant, request at any time that MyDinos stop collecting any or use of the child’s personal information. Parents can also contact MyDinos at any time to obtain any personal information collected on their child.

Please be prepared to provide for verification purposes, your email address on the account, telephone number where you may be contacted. For some requests, you will need to provide account information for your child’s account such as their password or your billing information.

3. Children between the Ages of 13 and 18

We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.
